I read that the time you have sex before ovulation affects the gender of your baby. Is that true? Has anyone gotten pregnant with a girl from having sex a day before ovulation ?

Gender is 50/50! I had a girl and had sex on my peak day and ovulation day.

The “theory” is having sex 4-2.5 days before O for a girl. Having sex day before O would be “boy.” But I personally don’t get my head wrapped up in those ideas nor do I believe their validity. I get why people want to think about it or try timing sex that way. Hoping for a certain gender is normal. I have two girls and kinda want a boy next, but would also be excited to continue to be a “girl mom.” But I just want a BABY! So I don’t mess with not having sex on O day! 🤪
