Baby shower during Covid

Stephanie

Hey fellow mamas to be! I’m due the end of May with our first baby. We’re planning for my shower in March and I’m struggling on what to do. First of all I respect everyone’s decision on whether or not to get the vaccine. However, I am fully vaccinated and I just want to keep my baby safe. I’m really torn because we have friends and family that aren’t vaccinated and I don’t want to rock the boat. We talked about asking everyone to be vaccinated but then we completely eliminate certain people coming all together. We are looking to also host a virtual shower for those who live farther away and those who cannot attend. Then we discussed asking to be vaxed or have a negative test within 48 hours of the party. Does anyone have any suggestions or have you don’t something similar. Or am I overthinking it all together. This is just a really special time and I want to celebrate but I want to do so safely for myself, our baby and our friends and family.
