I filed my taxes already and when I got home I received my 1099-R form from when I took out money from my retirement plan. What can I do? Will true irs mail me anything about this.

Wait until they process your refund, then amend the taxes, the IRS will catch it eventually, maybe not this year, maybe next year or the year after they are processing 2018 taxes right now ,  and 6 million people still haven’t gotten their 2020 refund, eventually you’ll get a letter about it especially if you don’t Amend the taxes or they may already know about it, and reduce your refund. just gonna have to wait and see
