Hey y’all I did it! Jhea Amari Maldonado is here! Ahhh the wait is over. I cannot wait to heal tho. These cramps afterwards are no joke! Babygirl weighed 8.62lbs and 20.5in long! Born at 3:34am on 1/29/22. Went in yesterday around 11:30am to start my induction. Luckily when they checked me I was already 4cm dilated 50% effaced -2 station and they started me on Pitocin instead of actual beginning labor steps and then couple hours later my dilation was the same but my efface went to 70%. Then couple hours after that I was at a 5cm 70% -2 so they broke my water. Couple hours later I got the epidural cause I couldn’t take the contractions nomore. I fell asleep for maybe an hour or 2 and then they woke me up to check me and see if I was ready to push. They told me in 30 mins I can start pushing. Around 3 we started and my legs were so numb. I barely felt pushing but little mama came out and doctors said she was a big baby. I did tear a little from the inside with my Libia not the bottom or outside but this was my second so idk if that’s why. My first I did tear from the bottom and he was also a big baby. I just kept praying and hoping to God he would watch over me and the baby thru the entire process and I wouldn’t have to have an emergency C section. Thank God he heard my prayers. I honestly love to have kids but to actually go they the process of having them, ahhhh we women are crazy to handle pain like that. 😩😮‍💨 Men could never 😂 Anyways I wish I would of experienced a sudden natural labor but sometimes it just don’t work out like that due to other reasons. I’m happy either way cause now babygirl is here! 💜
