10 weeks pregnant with baby #2 and tested positive for covid
So as the title states, sadly I have tested positive for covid. (They think it's the new variant because it comes on more like sinuses and a head cold and that's what mine did).
But a few days ago my husband tested positive after he had quit his job and his boss and employees half knowingly come to work with it and I tested a day after he did and it was negative, but I got symptoms that night and I got retested a day later and sure enough it was positive.
My son as far as I know is fine but he has a cough and he sneezes but other than tjay he feels okay. I'm just worried about what this would do to my unborn child. It's probably fine but I'm paranoid especially where I got it in the first trimester and that's usually when miscarriages happen if they do. I pray for the safety of my children daily and it doesn't seem to be as bad as it could be thank God
The first 3 days my husband slept a lot and kept a headache and wouldn't eat but the worst of mine was the first day and since then I've just had a runny node and a cough and it does make my throat and chest hurt but it's bearable.
I can't go see my ob to check on our baby because of covid but I'm hoping and praying it's okay.
