Any June mums planning on homebirth?

My third baby and I'm planning on homebirthing for the first time. Anybody else? How are you feeling about it?! 🙂

I am not planning on a home birth personally, but just a word of advice- make sure you have a midwife and doula that you trust! And make sure to have a backup plan just in case! Hoping you have a happy, healthy birth❤️

I had my 3rd one year ago at a birthing center in the water ...I was scared cause I can't handle pain at all. But it was the best thing I ever did. It was so comfortable. Midwife and assistants are there the whole time and they just leave you alone and let you do your natural thing. The worst pain I felt was transition but because the water wasn't ready yet. Low deep long moans helped immensely with the pain. Baby came out in 2 pushes in the water. You will not regret it!! I'm doing the same with this baby. Side note: my 3rd didn't come out until 41+1 so that was the only thing to me was having to wait for natural labor to start.

Not planning a home birth, but I am planning to go to a birthing center instead of the hospital for #3. Super nervous cause I had an epidural with my other 2, but I really want to be able to get home asap after!

I’m thinking about it! Being at home sounds sooooo nice! Especially for recovery!!

I am! Baby #1 was a water birth at a birth center and baby #2 will hopefully be another water birth but at home 😊 I’ve always wanted to do a home birth, but I wasn’t sure how I would handle the pain the first time so I chose a birth center. I ended up having back labor and that was freaking awful, but if I could handle that I can do this no problem.
