Have your kids gotten Covid?

Question

How old are they? 
Did they a mild or extreme reactions to Covid? 
Do you feel better now that they have the antibodies?
Are you feeling more relax going to public places with them? 
My entire family including my 2 children (2 and almost 4) had it a few weeks ago. Both only have high fevers for a day with no other symptoms. I feel safer taking them to public places now.

So COVID hit my family this past Thanksgiving. I was around 9ish weeks pregnant I think? I also had Type B Influenza simultaneously. My husband and I were both vaccinated for COVID but not for flu. 
I just felt like I had a bad cold; I never once had a fever and my main issue was bad congestion. I wouldn’t have even tested if I were not going to visit family that day. It really didn’t feel like anything I hadn’t experienced before. My husband literally just had a runny nose- he was out running a 5k when I called to tell him I tested positive 😩😩😩 he ended up losing his sense of smell completely and it’s slowly coming back even weeks later. 
My daughter (between 2.5 and 3 at the time) ended up testing positive a few days later, but she really only spiked a decent fever one night and the next day just had little appetite and seemed tired but otherwise fine.
My 7 year old however never tested positive! He got tested 3 separate times and maintained a negative somehow. 
we still mask up everywhere and I’m super cautious. I am pregnant not with my own child, but as a surrogate so I’m extra cautious these days! We may have antibodies but the way I see it, this virus keeps mutating and I don’t wanna get sick again if I can help it haha

Remember that people are getting reinfected just months later between Delta and Omicron. So one variant may not be providing as much protection against the next as we hope.

Our whole family just got over it. My 4 year old had a slight sore throat and wasn’t as energetic for 1 day. My baby (4months old) had a cough and woke up nonstop throughout the night but that also could’ve been the 4 month sleep regression. Us parents were worse off than the kids but nothing severe.

My daughter is 8 months old and got Covid at the beginning of the year. It was like a horrible cold for her, I had it as well and it was like a bad cold. Her and I are much better now, but I don’t feel happy that she has antibodies. She got some when I was breastfeeding after I got the first dose of the vaccine. She’s been testing positive for almost a month now (yes I know she can be positive for up to 90 days). She gave my mom Covid because she came to help me with her because my husband has been away for military training. I felt horrible that my daughter got Covid and gave it to my mom. My great grandma who is in her late 70s lives with my mom and so do my siblings. Luckily neither of them got it. I’ve been almost completely alone with my daughter this whole year and being isolated is not exciting. It’s also the first time my husband has been gone in her life time so that made everything 100 times worse for us. 🤷🏻‍♀️

2 of my stepchildren were positive for covid, 12 and 9.
9yo never really had symptoms. 12yo was really tired and coughing.

My whole family just recovered from COVID.
My step daughter (8) had a low grade fever for one day, no other symptoms.
My son (2) had fever, vomiting and was lethargic for two days, and had congestion and diarrhea for around a week. 
I am pregnant (28) and had a fever for two days, sore throat, congestion, vomiting and diarrhea, and extreme fatigue for two weeks. 
My mother (64) had fever for one day, congestion, vomiting and diarrhea, and extreme fatigue for about a week. 
My husband (33) had a fever for one day, congestion, lost his sense of taste, and minor fatigue for less than a week. 
My husband is the only one vaccinated in our household.
I don’t feel any differently about COVID. This was the first sickness my son has encountered in his entire 2 yrs of life. I’m extremely grateful his immune system was able to battle it on its own. We still live normally and don’t limit any interactions with family/friends. We don’t however go out all that much, but that’s the same as pre-COVID also. We are homebodies and love cooking so we rarely go out to restaurants or anything. Grocery stores and work are same as pre-COVID.

My 3 year old daughter got it. She had no symptoms and was completely fine. I’m pretty sure my one year old had it too, but if we didn’t get him tested (everyone else in the house tested positive though.)

We all just had COVID. Headaches, body aches, cough, no fevers. They recovered well, only have the lingering cough now. I feel a bit better now that they’ve gotten it out of the way but we are still just going about our lives like we always have.

Our whole house got it. My husband and I are vaccinated and we were sick for about a week. He is a baby but “seemed” pretty sick (This is also the man who thought he was having a stroke when he got his first migraine). I’m pregnant so I was just exhausted. Kids are 15, 13, 5. Older kids had a runny nose/fever for two days and then we’re fine and back to being super active. 5 year old tested positive but never showed any symptoms. 
I feel the same way about it as I did before. We don’t have any underlying health conditions. We all lead a very healthy and active lifestyle. We spend a lot of time outdoors. I’m not worried about it and never have been. We quarantined and followed protocols but I don’t think it’s changed our viewpoint.

My kids are currently on quarantine with Covid (5 and 2). They’re on day 9 of it and still have hard coughing fits and are congested, but their fevers have stopped. I don’t feel any different about them going out. We occasionally went out to stores with masks before they got it, they go to daycare daily (that’s where they got it), and we visit family monthly. Once we’re all recovered we’ll continue to wear masks and keep our distance when out in public and we still won’t go out much until the surge ends locally.
