I'm not sure what my curvature is, just enough that I avoided needing surgery when they first found it. I wore a brace junior and senior year of high school. At the time, it was still a "new" style of brace, around 2002-2004, I don't remember what it was called, but it was very minimalistic.

I'm just wondering if anyone else, from around the same time period, is still having back problems years later. I get random pains on my right side (the "open" side of the curve). Also the right side of my ribcage is super narrow compared to the left, but I think that's somewhat normal?

Idk, I just don't feel "cured" and the whole experience scared me off of going to doctors ever since. I just finally got myself in to see a dentist for the first time since 2004 because a tooth broke (also "only" had 4 cavities, they seemed impressed given the circumstances)

TL/DR: I was treated and "cured" of scoliosis in 2002-2004, my back still hurts, doctor ptsd, FML, etc. etc.
