Long story short, me and my daughter are pretty distant. My boyfriend which has known her her since she was 9? decided to have a talk with her about how she’s always in her room and not with me in the living room (I was there when he spoke to her.) My daughter is 15 and very confident and strong willed. Yes duh she has attitude but she is very respectful… as long as you respect her and her values (She got that from me Lol.) He told her that She didn’t love me.. and that She doesn’t care about me and she needs to stop being in her room all the time. She finished letting him talk and she SNAPPED. To sum up what she said, “First of all, i didn’t like the way you called me out of my name said I don’t love my mother because i DO okay? And the relationship that me and my mother share is none of your business. So for you to say that i’m never with her and i don’t care about her is crazy because that’s completely not true so just a reminder, me and my mother are none of your concern. Alright? Thank you.” and she calmly got up and walked away. I made her apologize but tbh she’s right.
