Is it okay to use your baby's middle name as the new baby's first name?

I personally wouldn't. I have given that name to a child already so why on earth would I give it again?
They deserve each their own name imo.

No. My mom did this and I feel like I wasn't special enough for her to name me something different instead of using part of my sisters name.

You can do whatever you want, but I wouldn’t. It’s so unoriginal and feels like you couldn’t come up with a new name. As much as I love my son’s middle name, I couldn’t name a second boy that.

I personally don’t think it’s that big of a deal. Middle names are non important to me. I rarely use them day to day when speaking to my children. If it’s a name that’s really grown on you, and you like it as a first name now, why not.
