Yes, my younger daughter has a name we also liked for our older daughter, I liked both names equally but the other just 'felt right'. Just dont ever tell her she got a runner-up name, kids take things so personally.

My oldest was going to be named Amelia till the night before I had her and we named her Olivia. Then my youngest once we found out we was having another girl we named her Amelia. 
If our first was a boy we would of named her Bradley. But my second is a boy and we named him Ethan 🤣
