I’m pregnant with our second and I’m having a lot of anxiety about life with two. My oldest will be 2 years when baby is born. How do you handle them both screaming at the same time? How do you give both equal attention? How do you deal with family playing favorites? So few family members made an effort to bond with our oldest because she had colic and just wasn’t fond of unfamiliar people. Which is totally fine and normal! But if my second is more trusting of others and family members like my second more than my first it’s going to break my heart. I also think people will think we won’t hold the same boundaries with our second or will be more “relaxed” as parents. We choose to not allow anyone to change diapers unless it’s absolutely necessary and received a lot of backlash on it, still do. We’ll keep that boundary with our second as well.
