Cold sore outbreak on lip, I had got them since I was a kid and haven’t had an outbreak since I was a kid! I had got my first Covid shot (Moderna ) Friday and was af 4 hours after it and throughout the whole weekend and then Monday morning I had swollen lip with a really bad outbreak of cold sores and my lip is still swollen af even after taking Benadryl. My doctor prescribed me acyclovir medicine today but I don’t there going to work bc it’s already been on my lip/face for 2 days now and it hurts and burns real bad 😭 what can I take to heal them fast and to take the burning pain away.?
