When to announce?

I’m 6 weeks pregnant currently and I’m the worst secret keeper. My first doctor appointment is on 15/2 and we are going to our home country on 17/2 and next time we will go 18/3 or 25/3 so I would be around 12-13 weeks. But I can’t decide if we should announce now in February or wait till next month because definitely I want to announce in real life. Also because I’m cubby, I’m scared that they would get suspicious why I have gained weight (I’m not sure how much my bump would show then). 
It’s so hard to keep it from my family because I have to watch my mouth every time I talk😅
I also would like to add that my brother is about to get rid of their baby stuff so if I wait we couldn’t get some of the things from them and we would need to buy everything new😅

If you want to tell people now, do it! I was telling family members when I first found out and was only 5 weeks pregnant. 
 I’m not sure why people like to wait until 12-13 weeks. No week is “safe”, you never know what could happen. You are celebrating a new life and want others to celebrate with you, don’t feel like you have to wait to tell people because that’s what people feel is normal!!

I have done it both ways. My first pregnancy in 2011 I told everyone right away and sadly that one ended in a miscarriage. I ended up pregnant right away and waited until 12 weeks because having to tell people I lost the baby the first time was so painful. With my 3rd pregnancy I told immediate family right away and then waited for everyone else. This time around I just can't hold it in and have told a lot of people and I haven't even gone to my first appointment yet.

I would deffo say 13 weeks mark am bad with holding things in i know it’s really hard but it’s totally worth it plus you be pass the 12 weeks scan mark, unless you jus tell your close family no one else for support xx

I went for an early pregnancy scan at 7 weeks and decided to tell immediate family then as we had seen and heard the heartbeat! I waited another week or two to tell close friends. 
This is completely your choice and there is no wrong decision! X

I never being pregnant… but if I get, I will tell our close family, probably as soon we find out… but friends and the rest, after the first trimester.
