Hospital bag?!

When did y’all pack your hospital bag? 
This is my 4th baby and I never packed one in advance and didn’t really pack one at all lol. Just had to send someone to my house to grab stuff 
I wanna be prepared this time. When did you pack and what went in it for dad, mom and baby?

Been waiting until I had the motivation to get up and take a picture of my list 😂 I’ve been slowly packing since like 28 weeks….because let’s be honest, anything can happen and I like to be prepared 🤷🏼‍♀️ Far left is baby, middle is me, and let be real, the far right is daddy, but that will be a last minute fill because it’s him

Here’s what my Ob recommendeds to back . I’ll back a couple extra changes or yoga pant outfits for me. Than a 2 newborn and 2 0-3 month outfits for the baby. A swaddle blanket. Money for vending machines.

I pretty much lived in a robe for my time at the hospital with my second. We ended up having to stay like 3 nights?? So the robe saved my butt. And kept me comfortable for breastfeeding.

Otherwise we both had a change of clothes (+ extra underwear and socks).
Robe.
Electronics you'll want to use + chargers.
Basic hygiene for hair, body & teeth.
Snacks. 
Preferred baby care and postpartum options.

This is #6 for me but I’m high risk every time so I always pick my bags early. I don’t pick a bag for my husband as he leaves to come home to sit with our boys and comes back the following days so he’s good with taking care of himself. For baby we are a team green family so I always pack 2 Jammie’s, hospital pictures outfit, and a going home outfit for both genders. I also have to take pampers preemies diapers with me as my hospital uses Huggies and that brand causes an allergic skin rash on my kids so I just skip all of that and bring what we need. For myself I bring 3 sets of Jammie’s, going home outfit, my insurance and ID, cell phone charger, hairbrush, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo and conditioner. I also bring my own hair dryer as my hospital does not provide one. If you’re not a fan of the mesh undies bring some depends too. I pack some snacks and drinks as I find I’m starving in the middle of the night when I’m breastfeeding and sometimes nurses are too busy to bring things in or the floor fridge wasn’t restocked or any other reason I cannot get food when I need it. I have csections so I have to bring enough things to last me 2-3 days before I can go home. My sister-in-law stays for 24 hours after she delivers so when she packs her bags it’s literally the bathroom things mentioned but a going home outfit for her, 1 set of Jammie’s for baby, hospital picture outfit, going home outfit, and a few snacks. She has unmedicated vaginal births though so she’s always in and out.

I’ve packed my baby’s bag so far but I haven’t packed mine and my husbands and probably won’t until 35 weeks . I always over pack but I put clothes , bibs, bows, socks, breast pump, bottles, bottle brush, and Tylenol and gas drops and breast milk storage bags . For me and my husband I’ll just do clothes and hygiene items .

This is my third. I think with my previous babies I through my stuff in a bag around 36/37 weeks.
This time around my pregnancy is a little more difficult and I’ll probably be induced around 38 weeks. So I’ll pack my bag around 35 weeks just in case I have to go earlier for complications.
