My little lady is constipated, any tips to help?

She's nearly 19 months and this is our first experience with constipation. The poor little thing is straining so much and really struggling to go. I read to increase water intake which I'm trying but any other tips please?

I make more foods with like oils, fats, and fiber to help loosen up stool. For instance, one day I made French fries home made with cooking oil and she went before nightfall. Buttered baked chicken, sandwich with butter and deli meat. Apple grape smoothie with oatmilk. ♡ hope this helps!
