So my husband and I have decided to have our 3rd child! DS will be 6 in March and DD turned 4 in December. I thought I was done having babies but life is always changing haha. Anyways, I currently have a paragard iud in place that I’ve had since my DD was born. When I last saw my OB/GYN in December the doctor said that he didn’t see my strings and he didn’t seems concerned about it all but he said that he’ll have to remove it laparoscopically. Im going to see him on Feb 23rd and I’m desperately hoping he’ll be able to take it out that day instead of waiting to have a surgery for it. So basically my question is, has anyone had their dr say they couldn’t see their strings and later have them be there or have it removed in office?

I should also mention I had a LEEP procedure last year so do you think the string might have been cut then?
