Is my newborn sons poop normal? Recommendations for cow milk allergy

My son was born 1/7/21 he was previously on similac sensitive but he had a lot of gas and was taken off it. The pediatrician suspects milk allergy and was put on nutramigen but he is pooping alot 8 or more times a day. His current poop looks very different from his previous poop and I’m not sure if it’s normal. His poop is kinda pasty but crumbly with a lot of yellow liquid. For instance I’ve been in the middle of wiping his butt and then he’ll squirt out yellow liquid on the wipe with more poop. I don’t have an appointment with his pediatrician until next week and it’s mostly an appointment I made to ask her about his poop.
