First steps to walking?

Question

After your baby has taken their first steps did they start walking? 
Mine just turned 10 months and has taken some steps last night and today just moving to furniture to table.

It took 6 months+ for my kid. She's 18 months and just starting to walk unassisted. She's walked on her knees since 13 months or so. She didn't crawl until a year old and then started holding onto furniture and trying to take steps. Then she just started walking on her knees and I'm still trying to encourage my kid to walk normally. Don't worry about your kids walking yet. You can encourage them to walk but some kids want to do things on their own for awhile. Give it time.

Stright away. It's like she discovered this new thing which was quicker than crawling and she loved it.
