Did you tear in the passed?

This is my second and I was fortunate not to have torn with her however I'm wondering how often that happens.. I have a terriable fear of stitches 🙊🙈 I know weird outta everything lol so I just want to be mentally prepared the best I can. I know it can happen but nothing I read gives that precent.. Thanks!

Trust me you will want a natural tear over an episiotomy any day! A natural tear will heal so much quicker and better, and they numb you to put in stitches that will dissolve on there own, it's not as bad as you think.

I tore from my vagina to butt with my 1st he was 8lbs 3oz and had shoulders like a football player...but my 2nd and 3rd sons were smaller and didn't have no tears thankfully...hoping for no tears with my 4th and final, but never know this little girl has been so complicated so far!

I posted yes natural but I tore and his head still wouldn't come so they ended up cutting hole to hole and still couldn't get his big ole head. Lol he finally came no issues had to threaten him with the vacuum. 10.2 and 24 inches but had c-sec with second and with thrid had VBAC no tear no nothing, 8.6lbs. Having VBAC with this one hoping no tear.

first baby was a full episodimy... that I found out wasnt needed just standard with that dr, second I tore a two level tear but it healed far better than the epidodomy, third no tear, fourth no tear

One tiny little stitch. Never even noticed it happening or the stitch being out in, thank you epidural! It wasn't how I hoped I'd give birth but it's how things went down.

mine wasnt a big tear, literally was a cm big or just over (more a rip)so didnt require stitches just naturally healed up over a few days, altho it did sting to go wee or sit

I don't think they cut anymore, I read that a studies showed you heal better when you tear naturally so they suggest not to cut anymore. I was cut with my first, 6 years ago, naturally tore with my last, 2 years ago.

The doctor cut me after a couple of hours of pushing. I was sore but it wasn't horrible.

I tear with my first baby girl she was 7,6 lbs but I pushed her out when I was only 8cm dailated. I had 7-9 stiches and I didn't feel them stitching me up because of epidural but the after math was bad, for a week it was hurting like crazy

I had to get a stitch. You don't feel the tear really or when they stitch you either.
