How did you tell your husband you’re pregnant?

So I just found out I’m pregnant with baby number two by accident while on the pill. We have a 17 month old daughter currently. When we found out about her we were trying and he was right there with me. Had not been the plan but he always comes looking for me. This pregnancy I want to do a really cute announcement. I had thought about getting our daughter a shirt saying big sister and letting him find out that way. I’m out of town from him till May too except we are together on the weekends but half the time at his moms, so I write him weekly cards I mail. I didn’t know if I should tell him that way. I don’t want his mom or anyone else knowing. What did y’all do?
Edited to add: He keeps saying I’m pregnant 100 percent and I have been saying no I’m not. Then today he is right. So he thinks I am but thinks too early to detect. So he has an inkling

First time he told me. He looked at the test. I told him not to get his hopes up (5 yrs of negatives) and he called to me saying I needed to see this. I miscarried that pregnancy. 
Second time I thought my period was coming. Even put a pad on that night. Only tested the next morning out of pure habit. 2 yrs after our first. It was instantly positive. I ran into our room, bawling, jumped on the bed, and shoved it in his half awake face. Managed a very sad little happy early birthday (it was the day before his birthday) and then promptly told him I couldnt breathe. I was terrified.  She'll be 4 next month. 
Third time, almost 2 yrs later. NYE. He wanted to drink. My period was due and hadnt started. Said get a test and some wine. He went to talk to his dad across the way and I took baby girl in the bathroom with me to test. Instantly positive. I broke down. Ran outside and shouted across the way at him that we were pregnant. Missed miscarriage at 9 weeks. 
Fourth time was a yr after that loss. My periods were messed up for 9 months. Finally got back on track for a few months and then went wonky again. Tested just to be safe. He knew as soon as I was a day late that I would want to test and he was making me feel silly for wanting to. We got home and he said you gonna take it? No because now it's going to be negative and I feel like a fool. Did it anyways. Came out bawling my face off. Absolutely terrified. He's currently 3 months old.

Mine was the same and kept telling me I was pregnant 😂.  I had taken tests for 3 days just to make sure since the first day or so the lines were kinda iffy.  I waited until he got in the shower the one night and put the most positive test I had on his towel for when he got out.  He yelled from the bathroom “wait, does this mean what I think it means?!”  I looked him dead in the eye and said “do you think I’d leave you a negative test just to mess with you?”🤦🏻‍♀️😂  It was hilarious.  We had my mirena out 3 weeks prior so he was in shock that it happened already.

For me personally I just came out and said I took a test it was positive. We are going to have a baby 🤷‍♀️ we were both super excited with the news.

For me it was diarrhea-of-the-mouth all three times. 
I swore to myself I would surprise him, made a whole plan after seeing the positive test, but after the five minutes it took me to take the test I just projected it at him from the bathroom. Fail. 😂😂😂

Go out as a family when together and tell him thrn and ask him not to tell anyone.
