Advice from a laboratory scientist

Heather

So, I'm just reading the posts on the faint lines and I have to say, I have some advice. I literally read these for a living. I'm a laboratory scientist who reads many tests like these throughout the day. DO NOT read the lines past the recommended time frames. I see sooo many tests on here that a clearly OLD. You will see a line which many of you call the "indent" line because it's an old test that's outside the recommended window. Also, stop putting the test up to a light. The line needs to be seen in regular lighting without enhancement. This also means stop posting your results with weird editing lighting. Look, I'm trying to help you decider a true positive versus false hope. These are the ideas I go by analyzing results in a hospital and I feel you all should do the same. On that note, happy baby making and I hope your dreams come true
