They’re not meant to start rolling until 4-5 months. Some babies will roll front to back accidentally during tummy time very early on, but it’s not them deciding to intentionally roll over.

On a completely flat surface with nothing to grab onto and use for leverage - he JUST started rolling from front to back during tummy time at 20 weeks. He could always turn into his side and pull himself from back to front if he had me or his dad to hold onto.

Between 4-5 months. She would roll occasionally off her belly before then but it wasnt on purpose

My son went tummy to back at 5.5 months and probably back to tummy closer to 6.5 months

My daughter is barely rolling and she just turned 9 months. She is a little behind the therapist said but she did say around 5-6 months is when they start.
