I called my regular doctors office and they have me this website for reassurance. I will share it here. But, advanced maternal age can and has caused a delay in the hcg concentration in urine on early pregnancy.

Also, I was reminded that most doctors don't even recommend testing for pregnancy until you are a week late for your period. Thats starting the day after af was due as day 1. So, faint lines at 7 or more days are not necessary a bad thing. As long as there is a rise in a reasonable amount of time.
