Breastfeeding before 1 doesn’t reduce with solids introduced. Babe should be eating about 8-12 times a day (every 2-4 hours). 
By 9 months old babe can be eating 2 meals a day. A third meal can be introduced. Food before 1 is just for fun and practice! 
Between 6-12 months, babes can have between 2-8oz of water. The get most of their water from breast milk/formula. Offering water under 1 is more so to introduce a water cup.
