Can he be removed from the house ?

So I come home from my prenatal visit and the father of my children is launched in the kitchen spaced out as I’m trying to tell him about the doc visit.. zero reaction. 
Anyway I’m getting ready to go get our girls from school 4&5 yo when I smell pot in the house! I confront him he’s of course calling me crazy I enter his room and the smell was undeniable there, he continues to deny everything!!
I’m baffled I mean he can go poison himself outside but to release harmful chemicals in the house where the kids breathe and I’m pregnant!!
Weed is legal unfortunately here so calling the cops would be futile. I’m at a loss we depend 100% financially on him, we’re not legally married so I don’t even know where to turn. Is there anything/rights of children that can apply here?? I hope smoking weed around minors is at least illegal???

I think u should pull back for a second. He not smoking around the kids or u. Yes its in the house but nobody was around right? All of you were gone. And has he had this habit before? Is he stressing about something or trying to cope with something. Calm yourself down. And then when he is calm and in a good space then talk to him about jt and how u need for him to do xyz. If u get worked up and go livid… you wont acvomplish your end goal… which is for him to not smoke in the house. This is something i am learning after tons of marriage coaching, reading, video. Us women have to learn to control our emotions. Allow the waters to cool. And also put things into perspective.  
1. Does he do this often?  
2. nobody is at home so he not intentionally putting u in harms way 
3. Is he stressed?
4. Is he a bad father? 
5. Is he a bad partner? 
6. Does he jeopardize you in other areas? 
If he normally is a good man and supportive … i say wait until u calm down and he is alert and then make your request. Men like to be put in the position where they can be the hero not automatically the villain. But if he has always done bad things then u should start strategizing your exit plan.

Ur over reacting. Just set ground rules like don’t smoke in the house especially when the kids or I are home. 
If he’s using a vape pen or something other than joints or blunts or a small pipe, the smoke is pretty safe because the pens use cartridges and release pretty clean smoke. It’s not harmful to u but to be ease ur mind u can ask him not to do it inside or around the kids. 
Educate yourself of weed and find a middle ground with him.

So there were no kids in the house as you said you were about to pick them up? So he wasn’t smoking around them or in the same room. I removed myself from areas that smelt like weed when I was pregnant mainly because I couldn’t stand the smell once I was pregnant. I sure hope you’re against alcohol including wine… if you’re freaking out about weed that is legal in your state. 
As long as all accessories and the weed it’s self is up high put away and not in reach then what’s the big deal?  Maybe ask him to smoke in the bathroom or open a window. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Well for 1 marijuana doesnt release harmful chemicals. And for 2 yes you sound like you are over reacting some. Ask him to respect you and the children and not smoke in the home if its that much of an issue but the rest of this non sense is petty.

I’d just say make sure if he does it to not do it around the kids or when you’re there since you’re pregnant
And have him open the windows next time
He was afraid of your reaction 
As long as he’s not doing it often or around the kids I don’t see a problem with it

Weed is not harmful chemicals I- 
I mean he shouldn’t deny it, and you.. idk everybody is different but this seems a bit much. 
If you don’t want to be with someone who smokes weed get a job and leave him idk but it’s not like it’s heroine or meth. He is a grown man and if he’s not doing it physically around you while pregnant or the children then I don’t see the huge problem. 
Idk weed has helped me so much I’m prob not the right person to be commenting on this lol.
