How to get baby to take formula?

Hey my baby has allergies and I’ve been trying to get him to take ready to feed alimentum . It smells horrible and I’m sure it tastes horrible too. How do I get him to switch from BM to formula? Are there any formulas that don’t taste or smell bad but at good for babies who are allergic to cows milk protein and eggs?

All baby formula smells horrible I would recommend, in my opinion, I would mix breast milk and formula together eventually your baby will drink the milk since they’re hungry. If you stop breast feeding before your baby is use to the formula they’ll cry for a while since they not use to it. It does taste different from breast so that’s another problem you’ll have. Also see if the formula that you’re using will work for your baby because all babies are different when it comes to what formula works best for them. Again this is my opinion on what I think is helpful  but I hope I did help.

I give my little one BOBBIE it’s an organic brand but you might want to ready more into the ingredients. I taste everything I give to my little one and actually not bad.

My baby is on enfamil prosobee and he loves it! Its a soy based formula. He has a milk intolerance and we tried so many formulas that never agreed with him including nutramigen. He would scream for hours and was very fussy.
