I had my Nexplanon removed 01/27/22. May would have been the full three years, but I had it removed a little early because it was suddenly causing very long periods (like two weeks or so). In the time that I had the implant, I didn’t really have periods but did have some spotting here and there.

I haven’t started my period yet. Before the implant, my periods were very regular (31 days). I’m not sure if it’s due to having the implant removed or if it’s a possible pregnancy (I did have unprotected sex on 02/01). How long did it take your period to return after the implant was removed?
