Hello I am a first time mom and my daughter is about 8 months old. She’s had issues not too long after she was born with not being regular with her bowel movements where she would go days and days without one so her dr had us doing prune juice. As of the last few weeks almost month now she is either in agonizing pain trying to poop or she has like streaks of poop not coming out. She hasn’t had a regular bowel movement in weeks. The drs keep saying this is common. She is on prunes daily and miralax daily. I’m cutting banana and sweet potatoes out of her diet completely per the dr. I thought maybe the happy baby teething crackers had something to do with it because it is a combo of banana and sweet potato but I’m not sure. Have any other moms gone through this and was there a solution? She is being referred to a gi doctor. Thank you!
