In terms of recovery/ drugs they put in your body/ by benefit to the baby etc..

If you don’t have to get a c section I wouldn’t unless medically necessary. It’s very hard and very painful and a lot longer recovery time. I would love to be able to have a natural birth just so I wouldn’t have to go through the pain again

Getting cut open is so so so much worse for humans. In every aspect.. your a human.. babies are supposed to come out of the vagina. It’s just the way it is… the only way someone should have a c section and have all this extra risks is if they can’t have baby the normal way.

I generally suggest that not getting open is preferable to getting it open should you have the option. The drugs are safe, although there is inherent risk to everything, including pregnancy 🤷🏼‍♀️

They use the same drugs for both types. The same epidural, same Iv fluids, same pitocin, etc
Recovery for section is slower and can be more tough. 
Most OB recommend a VB if you can.
