Any natural unmedicated birth stories in hospital?

Question

What was your experience giving birth with no epidural, no pitocin in hospital? Would you do it again? Some pro’s and con’s? Please describe your personal experience with the pain to me as well if you can. And what is the beauty of giving birth naturally in your opinion! I’m really trying to plan a natural birth in hospital but I hear that they often try to give you pitocin or an epidural if you’re not giving birth “quick enough” and I’m kinda scared. For that. But I want to be sure that natural is the way I want to go. Thanks!

I though they only give give pintocin if they are inducing labour but I’m not a 100% so I could be wrong! A natural labour is a vaginal labour so I think you mean a unmedicated birth. I’m interested to see what other peoples experiences are though as I’ve been advised o have be induced earlier, which I’m dreading as supposed to be more painful🙈Look up Hypnobirthing I have been doing tons of research and watching videos as i was recommended it by a friend she said after having a horrendous first birth it really eased her anxiety about labour the second time around and make the actual birth so much more calm xx

I had an unmeducated birth. With that being said, I was able to handle it as I have a high pain tolerance thank god and was not given pitocin. Pitocin makes the contractions more painful. With my first it wasn’t bad, with my second, maybe it was because I allowed a cervix swipe and that put me into labour 24 hours..  it was intense, I was about to give up.. but baby was ready to come out right then lol. So 2nd was intense but fast labour. Personally I hate injections and epidural scares me. Plus with the risk of something happening and done people report back pain after. Anyways, every body is different .. if it gets intense, do what’s best for you momma 😃

I had a unmedicated natural birth with my 3rd son,  but not by choice lol. By the time I had gotten to the hospital I was already 6cm dilated and within an 45 min to an hour I was at 10cm and ready to push. I had done almost the entire labor at home and didn't realize. YES it was painful but I had always had an epidural in the past and didn't realize I was in active labor (probably because I couldn't think straight with all those contractions lol). Everything happened so fast once I got there. Would I deliberately do it again? Heck NO lol but I don't like pain.

I did unmedicated while induced...it was torture. My second medicated was better, but only worked on half of me.

I had a natural one in hospital, and I can tell you focusing on breathing is your best friend. 
My labour was relatively quick for a firstborn. I think it's important to note that I started from 0 dilation and a long cervix at 40 wks 5 days. It started around 5 a.m. and stayed irregular until around 7 p.m. It was manageable and still pretty ignorable then. A couple hours later, they were 1 minute long 3 minutes apart, so me and hubby went to the hospital only to figure out I was only 3 cm (I wasn't totally surprised since I felt it could be waaay worse).  They monitored baby for an hour or so and checked me. Turns out the timing to go was only right on paper, so we went home even though we had the option of staying, but I wanted to stay out of hospital as long as I could. This is also when they offered pain meds, which I refused.
As soon as we got home, the contractions picked up real quick. I laboured at home for a couple hours more until contractions began overlapping and I didn't think I would be able to walk if i waited much longer. This entire time I stayed active, swaying my hips, and focused on my breathing. I tried to do stuff, but that was difficult.
Now back at the hospital, I got monitored for an hour or so (don't really remember how long), but I was on my back and totally hated it. I do not recommend being on your back AT ALL. Be vocal if you're uncomfortable with how they want you. That's my biggest regret. I was 6 cm going in the second time. They offered me pain meds a couple times here, which I again refused. I feel like they took forever to get me into a labour room, so I was stuck on my back for a while as they admitted me. Eventually they took me into the labour room, and then it started getting messy. I think I lost my mucus plug on the way there because I felt something come down my legs. Once there, I laboured for a while. I leaned on the bed the entire time and swayed my hips and tried (I tried) to focus on my breathing but needed reminding to slow down my breaths. My husband helped me with this so much by reminding me to breathe slower, and I don't think he realized that. 
Before I knew it, my water broke and I felt like I had to push. They moved me onto the bed, told me how to push effectively, and I started pushing. I had the head of the bed inclined so i was semi-seated. If I had it my way, I would've stayed standing. Somewhere here, I couldn't feel contractions anymore and only a faint pushing sensation, so I might have been ultra concentrated but idk. I'll admit I didn't put 100% effort into pushing once I could feel my vagina painfully stretch. If I had to compare it to anything, it would be to having a large dump but instead of butt stretching it was the vagina. It was just unpleasant feeling. Eventually it was 12:50 a.m. and my baby was here!

Oh shoot.  So I’m all for the epidural.  I get that thing as soon as those contractions start getting painful!
But with my last baby.. the epidural completely wore off at 9 centimeters dilated. 😱😱😱 I was SCREAMING bloody murder.  The entire maternity ward could hear me I’m sure.  Screaming cuss word after cuss word.  That shit hurt so bad.  
I have zero idea how women do it without epidural or meds.  What I felt was something out of this world.  Maybe different women are built differently and can handle it, idk.  I’ve been through a lot, two herniated discs in my back and back spasms where I couldn’t move or walk for a week!  I’ve had my wisdom teeth pulled while pregnant and couldn’t take pain meds 
But when that epidural wore off, hell to the no lol!!  PROPS to those who can do it without!!!🙌🏻🙌🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
