Crib training while room sharing? How??

Question

Long story short, baby girl is 9 months old and currently sleeping in bed with me and nursing like 3 times every night. Before the 6 months regression she was up only once and sleeped in her bed that’s next to my bed. Is there a way to get her back in her bed? We don’t have a separate place for her to move. I was also thinking that maybe I should sleep in the living room… help!!

We’re in a similar boat. Our May baby sleeps in her crib in our room, but she still wakes twice a night, and sometimes more, to nurse and will then go back to sleep in the crib. Sometimes she ends up in bed with us for a few hours in the early morning. If I weren’t in the room with her, I bet she would go back to sleep on her own without the nighttime feeds. I’ve tried hiding under the covers for a few minutes in the hopes that she would soothe herself, but to no avail. So, I’m afraid that I’m of little use to you but did want to say that I sympathize! 🥰
Does your little one fall asleep in the crib and then find her way to your bed in the middle of the night or does she start off in your bed? If the latter, then maybe try getting her to fall asleep in her own bed for the first chunk of the night. Leave the room until she’s asleep and then sneak back once she’s asleep.

Sometimes sleeping in a separate room just for those first couple days can help while crib training. You could even try waiting until baby is asleep before sneaking back to your room to sleep.

My son is quite a bit older but I bedshared with him until just recently at 20 months old. His crib is in our room and so he still sleeps in our room every night but in his own bed now.
What worked for us and what my advice is, is to start slow. If she doesn’t already take naps in the crib, start there. Get her comfortable with the crib during the day and she will be more likely to be receptive to it at night. 
If she already naps in the crib, start the night out with her in the crib and see how she does from there. Take it night by night and hopefully within a few nights you may see improvement in how long she will be willing to stay in the crib. It’s definitely not an overnight process so don’t feel down about it if it’s not happening quickly. My son is very attached to me so it took many weeks for him to fully be comfortable in the crib. It was hard work but it’s been worth it now!
