Do you guys brush babies teeth everyday?

This is probably a dumb question but my LO is 9 months old and I feel like I’m not brushing her teeth right. She just bites the little brush or refuses it all together so sometimes I’m not able to.

I will admit, at that age I didn't. I should but I didn't.
As she got older we did. She's three year old in a bit and still chews the toothbrush sometimes 🤷🏻‍♀️

My 1 year old barely lets me brush his teeth but I do it everyday. Its not for 2 minutes, its more like a few seconds just because he constantly turns his head or bites the brush and everything else for me not to do it.

Yes. Twice a day every day with floss. Very few exceptions. Oral health is very important to us since our parents didn't try as hard as they could have and we are paying for it as adults

My 19 month old still acts that way sometimes and I've been brushing her teeth everyday since they came through. Multiple times a day when she had quite a few teeth. The.dentistmom on instagram has lots of useful tips

Yes! They’re teeth are soo small so you really don’t have to do much, you’re literally just going over all the teeth once. Depending on what you’re exposing your LO to, they can definitely have cavities by their first dentist appointment. So yes! I didn’t want my children to have any of the dental problems I had my entire life, so I take oral health very serious.

Honestly at 9 months I thinks it's more about getting them used to it, my daughter did the same when I started brushing her teeth but now she does alot better and will even smile when I ask her to cheese so I can brush her teeth.

I started to get more consistent at a year old. We started just brushing before bed at 1 and then once they got the hang of it we did morning and night

Yes. I got u shaped toothbrushes for my 2.5 and 1.5 year old. Works much better. I do it for them first to make sure I get them and then I let them do it. They do a better job than they did with a standard toothbrush.

I used a finger brush until all mine were over 1. It was just easier and would keep their mouth open.
