So this is kinda awkward/embarrassing but I had sex for my first time after giving birth and I told told that I smell..? I was confused and quickly offended when he told me that. I didn’t smell anything. Nothing smelled fishy or anything so I was super confused. I went to the bathroom to see if I could smell anything and no. Not even if I sat on the toilet pants down about to take a wee. Im confused if there was something he could smell that I couldn’t maybe my PH was off since having the baby? It’s been almost 4 weeks since.

It’s called lochia, normal for postpartum. You need to wait 6 weeks or until you’re cleared by your dr for sec due to increased risk of infection.

It’s common before your healed to have a different odor and sometimes for a little bit after. Even if you feel healed enough, it’s important to wait at least 6 weeks as you have an internal wound from the placenta that is the size of a dinner plate. Uterine infections are no joke! But the odor will go away, don’t worry.

Were you cleared for sex by your doctor? 4 weeks is very early. It’s normal for the scent to be different  your body is still healing from birth.

You actually don't need to wait 6 weeks after birth to have sex doctors just suggest 4-6 weeks, I just found that out recently. You probably are just going through hormonal changes and your body is adjusting.
