I love myself bc I’ve worked damn hard to be the woman I am today. I’ve fought wars to still be breathing today and I know my worth. Everyone should love themselves and see their strength. God on one side of me and my husband on the other and I need nothing else.

Honestly, it really depends on the day. For the most part I do. I have accomplished so much than I ever thought I could.

No.
I have chronic depression, anxiery, psoriasis and now psoriatic arthritis which is crippling my wrists and stealing away my passion, which is to draw. I have sexual trauma from before I was old enough to even know what sex was. I feel like I never got to be a child. I am in constant pain despite being young still. I feel weak and pathetic when my body fails me and guilty when I am upset over it because I know it's not as bad as other people have it. I feel guilty for having panic attacks, or suffering from depression. I hate how I can't get myself to brush my teeth every single day because my depression makes me feel like I don't deserve even basic self care and saps my energy away that I can't even if I want to. I hate that I get distressed too easily and feel like a burden to people who care about me.
I know it's not true, and I'm doing a lot better than I used to be. I have a wonderful fiance and I'm managing my symptoms a lot better than I give myself credit for. I'm getting better at doing the little things everyone else does everyday to take care of myself and I keep reminding myself I'm worth it. That I deserve to be healthy and okay. One day my fiance and I will have a cat, I think that will help too as it will give me routine and a reason to get up everyday. I hope one day I can love myself, but until then, I'll continue to try and take care of myself for the people who love me even when I can't.

As a person and how they do things? I guess, ya.
Appearance? No. I have body image issues with a mother who doesn’t know how to keep her mouth shut. 6 months pregnant and every time I see her “Ashley is watching what she eats this time.” Mind you, I lost the baby weight with my son before a year. And I’m hungry, all the time. I never once said I was dieting while pregnant.

I absolutely do,  A man does not complete you, you complete yourself. Love yourself, date yourself, pamper yourself, you don’t need anyone to do that. They say that you’re supposed to give respect and love and appreciation to other people and to treat them how you want to be treated, but we also have to realize that we need to give ourselves that same love and respect that we give other people. Get the mean girl out of your head. I want you to do an exercise for me take a piece of paper and draw a line down the middle. On the left side using I am statements, I want you to write all the mean things that you say about yourself I am ugly, I am stupid, I am worthless, etc. and then on the right side I want you to write the opposite using a positive statement I am smart, I am beautiful, I am worth it, etc. and then I want you to take each positive statement and write it on individual post it, then I want you to put them all over the place and when you see them I want you to repeat them with conviction like a daily affirmation. The only one that is there for you in the end, is yourself. The only one that’s been there for you through all the bullshit in life, is yourself. And no matter what you’ve put your body through, your body‘s been there for you through all of it. I absolutely love my body, I am proud of it, do I care what anyone thinks of me, absolutely not, they can kiss my ass. My confidence, my self-esteem, my self-worth, trust me I’ve earned it after all the shit I’ve been through, the abuse I’ve done to my body, the abuse others have done to my body. There is an anything that I haven’t been through. And it’s not that I’m full of myself for have a big head or have any kind of complex, it’s that I know I deserve better, I know I deserve happiness, I know I deserve so much better than women tend to settle for because they don’t want to be alone. We are all worthy of so much more. Love yourself, date yourself, pamper yourself, you don’t need a man to do that. We’ve got this ladies.
