Nope. It’s not a good source of nutrition. We will do baby led weaning at 6 months.

We’re not going to give cereal we’re going to do BLW but in order to give cereal and solids your baby needs to have appropriate head control for most babies that isn’t until 6 months

I follow my pediatrician’s advice and he recommends oatmeal at 4 months. Little man is doing great with it. 😍 it’s super fun

their pediatrician told me that I could do it since they were 4 months and they can hold their head steady. But she recommended to put it in the formula first to see how it goes and it went prettt good. I also started giving them purées and they LOVED IT! We started with avocado, now we are doing butternut squash then peas! 
I used this guide but I asked their pediatrician before starting it & she recommended to do the veggies first then fruit.

My baby has reflux and it helps put some weight in her belly to keep food down. We use organic rice cereal with breast milk. Started doing thin cereal and now we have let it get a little thicker. She will be 4 months soon. Doctor said she could start purées at 4 months. We will do some purée but baby led weaning at 6 months. Basically putting something in her belly to keep food down, and teaching her textures slowly. She has been gaining weight, always been chunky and healthy, holding her head up for a while. Good signs that it’s safe to feed her rice cereal!

Iron is good for brain development and plus it’s good practice for earring can help them sleep longer at night depending on the child we do it we also feed her fruit and veggies
