What can I do for my grandma on V-day?

She lost my grandpa last month, and I’m sure today will be especially tough. She’s a teacher so she doesn’t get off of work for a few more hours. 
I just want to show her she’s loved, and give her something else to focus on other than the loss she has to endure everyday😔

Drop something off at the office at her job? Take her to dinner?

I would say take her out, but maybe you can plan to cook together a meal? Or bake some valentine cookies? Watch a funny movie together while baking? I would say stay in since it is valentines and surely everyone is out with their partners and might make her a little sad?

Take her out to eat or get her flowers or chocolates etc. what’s something she used to like to do with her husband aside from intimate things lol. Make new traditions. My mother has been a widow since 1983. We celebrate Valentine’s together. We went to the casino and had fillet mignon etc at the grill there,  and stayed over night and had a good time. Just because you are single or alone doesn’t mean you need to spend it alone. Spend time with friends and family, have galentines instead. Pamper yourself. Mani pedi massages. Drink wine  go to the movies etc.
