Hey ladies…

I’m 26 & this is my first pregnancy. Me and my husband are happy to be having a baby together. I’m still 11 weeks so it’s too early to know the gender but I can’t help but hope it’s a girl every minute and second.

I really get along with girls and find them so special. It was my dream as a little girl to have a daughter. Also, my husband wants a boy because in his and our culture boys are seen as superior over girls. But I’m the complete opposite.

Also, I know it’s more difficult to raise a boy since they can be more naughty and troublesome, that’s also another reason why I want a girl first. So I can save that stuff for later.

I’m praying I get a girl, if God really listens or exists. I really wanted a baby now I got one but if I have a boy I’ll be just disappointed. Does this make me a cruel mother? Am I a bad mother? 🙁
