Dry flaking skin on face?

Hi all, my baby has a lot of dry skin on her forehead, eyelids and around her nose. The pediatrician recommended just leaving it alone but it’s looking worse - spreading and flaking. I have tried putting breast milk on her dry spots but it doesn’t seem to make much difference. I don’t want to create another issue but wondering if anyone has experienced the same and what you did?

I would keep doing the milk and then once dried, I like adding shea moisture coconut oil! There’s others as well, but this brand works well for the rest of the family and skin and hair too!

My baby had this around 3 weeks. Just gave bathes and put lotion on daily. She’s now 6 weeks and not as much dry skin :)

Baby’s almost 5weeks & I noticed it started around 3.5wks. Hasn’t fully gone away but I started washing her face 2x a day & definitely notice it’s going down. (Just using a washcloth & water)

This happened with my little just around her eyebrows. I used Burt’s Bees Healing Balm and it cleared it right up.
