If you are please let me know what you’re doing and what the theme is and what is on your registry. I want to celebrate this baby because ever baby deserves to be celebrated especially after 2 losses BUT my son is only 2 and I don’t want people to think I’m selfishly doing it for the gifts.

We did a sprinkle for my 2nd - main requests were for diapers and wipes and of course if others wanted to give more they did. Most people love celebrating babies so I wouldn’t worry about appearing selfish

My cousin is throwing me a “sprinkle,” inviting about 20 family members. I have all big items already, because I have a 3.5 yo son. I also had 2 losses in between, and were having a girl this time! So I made a registry with about 20 small items - bottles, pacis, crib sheets, burp cloths, baby shampoo, etc.

I feel like the older generations think it’s kind of odd that we have more than one shower nowadays. But I like the idea of celebrating each pregnancy. I am having a “sprinkle” for my third. We have almost everything we need but there’s just a few things I’ve registered for. It will be much smaller in comparison to my first baby. I’m having a girl and my son is now 5. My in laws are throwing me a small sprinkle with 15-20 people. I’m only asking for diapers, wipes, shampoo, but I do have other things in my registry if they want to (don’t need to/the registry is mainly for me to buy stuff because I tend to forget what I need). Yes I am, because my son is almost 4 so I no longer have anything for babies. And not to mention I'm having a girl this time. But my boyfriend and I have also bought almost all of the bigger items.

I had a boy in September 2020 & now I’m having boy/girl twins. If I was just having another boy, we wouldn’t be doing a shower, but my husband’s aunts wanted to do something for the twins. I just told them we only need diapers/wipes & formula. & it’s not so much a traditional shower as just another family gathering.
