This is my first time with GD, so if this comes off absolutely idiotic I won’t be surprised and apologize in advance. I have been checking my sugars four times a day and taking insulin nightly for my fasting numbers since 11 weeks. I am also meeting with diabetes and endocrinology monthly to monitor my A1C and just ensure that everything is going as it should. All of my after meal numbers have been amazing and my A1C is where they want to see it. My question is, as I’m already being treated and have been for actual months now, why would my doctor want me to take the three hour glucose test?
