Hi ladies,

My son is 7.5 months and is only pooing every 6-7 days. He has been so restless and I didnt feel it was normal.

I went to the GP today and he recommended giving coloxyl for babies as he had a feel and said he feels backed up a little.

Has anyone had this issue before? He has been on solids for 2 months now and i havent had any issues until the past two week.

Has anyone else used coloxyl? Doctor said once he starts walking usually it resolves as they get more movement and that I shouldnt worry too much.

He had a bowel movement today and it was soft, no hard stools so Im a little confused. Can you be constipated/backedup but still have soft poo? He also strains when going, red face and grunting.

Any advice is appreciated:)
