So, I’m pregnant with my first baby. Got pregnant in August sand I was 35, I turned 36 in November, and she’ll be born in May. My husband and I want a second child, but I’m afraid it won’t be as easy for us the second time around.

We got pregnant in the first month of trying. Let’s be honest, I’ll probably not want to be pregnant again until the baby is a year old, maybe even a year and a half. This means getting pregnant at 38. I don’t even want to hope for the second baby because of the posible heartbreak of not being able to get pregnant again.

Should we be happy with our baby girl? Or try for a second one, even with the added dangers of an older pregnancy?
