If you rinse it with cold water it doesn’t stick together.

Why for the love of God would you do that?

I don’t think there is ever a circumstance to do this. You literally save a bit of that starchy pasta water to add back at the end, so why would you rinse the pasta? Pasta doesn’t normally stick together if it’s prepared probably so I’m not sure why cold water would stop it from sticking together? Never ever will I rinse my pasta

I do if it's not made from wheat flour-- we do a lot of chickpea pasta so for that I do!
