So my cooch is itchy. It’s swollen and red which might be because of my scratching, and I have white creamy discharge. It’s a bearable itch but it’s uncomfortable and it isn’t necessarily itchy inside and there’s not much of an odour unless your right up against my liner and for the most part, there’s no burning as I pee, unless my pee runs along the swollen part of my cooch.

I started getting itchy after I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend. He is clean as we only sleep with each other. I don’t have a UTI, I already got tested by my doctor.

However, what’s kind of sussing me out is that she prescribed me antibiotics. She didn’t explain what’s happening to me down there and said just take antibiotics. I’m kind of traumatised because a doctor once told me to take antibiotics and I ended up with a yeast infection and now I’m afraid that what if I did have a yeast infection this whole time and she just gave me antibiotics. From my knowledge, antibiotics make it worse and I should’ve gotten an anti fungal cream.

Have you guys experienced the same? Did the antibiotics work? Or should I get a second opinion? Is it BV?
