When did you shave?

Im 3 weeks pp tomorrow and I’m dyingggg to shave but so scared lol. I had a second degree tear and honestly I haven’t even looked down there since I gave birth 😅

I didn't out anything near my V besides pp care stuff until I was cleared by the doctor at 6 weeks. I was worried about potential infections so I wanted to be on the save side. But it still took me longer than that. For the longest time I was really afraid to look. When I did everything looked normal.

I honestly waited until I was cleared by the doctor at 6 weeks until I even felt comfortable, I was freaked out by it lol

Until you are ready. I didn’t force myself into it. It took me a while probably longer than it needed too cause I was just so paranoid. But that’s okay. Once you are fully healed and comfortable touching the area be gentle and go for it.
