Should I tip someone that comes clean my house?

Question

I’m hiring a cleaning company to clean my home but I never hired someone before… am I supposed to tip them on top of the actual payment?
Any tips on what to do/or expect from the cleaners?
Anything I can do to make things easier and get the most of their service? 
Any advice is very much appreciated

Please clean the areas prior to them coming. I don’t mean clean as in Lysol- I mean declutter. They can’t clean what they can’t get to.

Make sure you know are they supplying products or are you? How often are they coming? What services do they offer (window washing, oven cleaning, baseboards?)

Tell them what you want done. They don’t know you or what you want done.

If it’s a company, then yes. Always tip the employee. If it’s the owner of the company or an independent contractor, then I typically do not.
