Hey Mamas!

I can’t get an epidural because it’s contraindicated for my health condition due to high risk of CSF leaks, so my only pain relief option during labor will be IV pain meds like morphine or fentanyl. Can you please share your experience, which medication(s) you were given, and if you let them administer it or had a button where you could get it on demand? Also please tell me how the pain of labor was for you and how effective it was or wasn’t.
