My day 21 progesterone level is 7ng/ml

My ob says the test only indicates whether or not I’ve ovulated and nothing else.

I have an appointment with a reproductive endocrinologist but it’s not until May as their wait list is really long.

From what I’m reading online, this number is high enough to indicate that I’ve ovulated but low enough that it’s not ideal for implementation/pregnancy. What have your doctors told you? What are my options between now and May? I’m 39 years old so I don’t want to lose time but changing doctors is hard and wait lists are long. I think anyone in the same practice as my ob would likely have the same guidelines as her and do nothing.
