Shorter periods using menstrual cups?

Has anyone else had shorter periods using menstrual cups vs pads/tampons? Mine went from 5 days to 3 days. I'm not complaining by any means lol I just found it interesting and wondered if anyone else has had this too

Mine stayed the same. I have not seen any credible research showing it is happening, but some women do say, it made their periods lighter. 🤷‍♀️

I have been wondering this too. My last period I only used my cup and one tampon. Mine did end up being shorter than normal. I am going to try this next cycle and see if it happens again.
